Gray Global Advisors Principal to lead a lecture on Rasputin on January 14, 2015

Ralph Nurnberger, a Principal with GGA, will present a seminar on the life and death of the Russian mystic, Gregori Rasputin. The presentation is sponsored by the Smithsonian Associates Program. It will take place at the Smithsonian’s Ripley Center on Wednesday, January 14th, from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m.
Dr. Nurnberger’s discussion, Rasputin: The Man Who Wouldn’t Die, will explore the multifarious and conflicting stories surrounding the life and assassination of this fascinating historical figure. Dr. Nurnberger will explain Rasputin’s historical significance, especially his influence over the Romanovs, the course of events leading up to his death, and various characters who were involved in these events.
Dr. Nurnberger is an acclaimed lecturer who has spoken nationally and internationally as well as appeared on many television and radio broadcasts. He is a former professor of International Affairs at Georgetown University where he taught for 38 years and received the “Excellence in Teaching Award” from the Graduate School of Liberal Studies in 2003.
